Art box and art portfolio

Welcome to Arts at the Isendoorn. A new school and a new subject. During the arts lessons you will be developing yourself in a creative and practical way. Think about painting, drawing, sculpting, filming, photographing, and many more. Let's start right away!

Art box doodle

  1. Check your art supply box and pencil case and organise everything on top of your table in an interesting composition.
  2. Start drawing your composition in your art Portfolio. (2D or 3D).
  3. Give each item its name in English, discuss in your group for the right word and check a dictionary (digitally)

  1. Look around your immediate environment (this classroom).
  2. Sketch an icon or doodle for seven of the things that you see.
  3. Add the English words.

Name tag

    1. Use illustrations, symbols or lines.
    2. No empty spaces, good balance plan.
    3. Make use of depth techniques or illusions such as: overlapping, perspective, shadow, 3D, scale, light and dark values, etc.
  2. Design a background for your name tag.
  3. Make a colour plan.
  4. Make your final design on the cover of your art portfolio or a paper.
